Vertafore connects third-party tools to AMS360 mainly through its Orange Partner Program. Vertafore describes the program as using its open platform and APIs to build integrations that complement the Vertafore suite, and its directory listed 47 partners in October 2026, tagged as integration, strategic, professional services or premium finance partners. Vertafore's developer portal requires a sign-in, and we found no public API documentation. The AMS360 product page mentions an open API for third-party tools such as CRMs and reporting. Vertafore's own products connect more tightly: PL Rating has a two-way rater link with prefill, and AMS360 Connect syncs with Salesforce. Carrier data arrives separately through Carrier Downloads, which bring in new policies, endorsements, claims, renewals and direct-bill commission statements. A vendor's "AMS360 integration" might be an Orange Partner API connection, a custom build, browser automation using a staff login, or a file export. Ask which one, and what it writes back.

- Are you a current Vertafore Orange Partner for AMS360, and which partner type is listed in Vertafore's directory?
- Does the integration use Vertafore's APIs, or does a bot work in AMS360 using a staff login? If it's a bot, who maintains it when AMS360 updates?
- Which AMS360 records do you create or update (customers, policies, activities, attachments, suspenses), and how often do you sync?
- Will anything we pay Vertafore change, such as API or connectivity fees, to switch on your integration?
- How do you avoid duplicating or overwriting policy data that comes in through Carrier Downloads?
- Can you show an activity your tool created in a live AMS360 database during the demo?
