Commercial quoting platforms

Tools that take one small-commercial application and return quotes from several carriers, usually over carrier APIs. Best for BOP, workers' comp and general liability on clean, main-street risks.

Every tool

Filter by what you write and the AMS you run. Listings are free and nobody pays for placement.

How to choose

What matters most, in order

Carrier coverage in your states

The carrier list is the product. Check your top five carriers, state by state, before anything else.

Lines and classes you actually write

Most platforms are strongest on BOP and WC. Check GL, commercial auto and specialty classes separately.

Starting from email

Much commercial intake still arrives as an email and attachments, not an ACORD. Check that it can start a quote from that.

AMS integration

Ask whether quotes, applications and client data sync both ways with your AMS, or only one way.

What happens when a risk falls out

Referrals and underwriter questions usually send you back to the carrier portal. Ask how often that happens on your book.

Pricing model

Per user, per quote, or flat. Model it against your real monthly quote volume.
