Who wins with it
You run a personal lines shop that loses leads because producers can't call back fast enough, and you want calling, intake and quote prep in one tool.
You need commercial lines quoting, a published carrier list, or a SOC 2 report before you pilot.
The good and the catch
What it is
SUPERAGENT is an AI platform for insurance agencies built around voice agents. It covers inbound calls, outbound campaigns, retention, call scoring and producer training. The Quoting AI Agent was announced in a Business Wire release on January 26, 2026, with a global launch date of February 11, 2026. The company was founded in 2025, is based in San Francisco, and says it has completed pre-seed funding. Vlada Lotkina is CEO, per the launch release. In coverage of its 3.0 release (September 2026), it said more than 500 US agencies use the platform. That figure covers the whole platform, not the quoting agent alone.
The quoting agent is aimed at personal lines. Its published examples are auto and homeowners applications (ACORD 90 and ACORD 80). We found no documented commercial lines quoting.
How it works
According to the vendor’s quoting page, the flow runs like this:
- The agent phones the customer, so the lead doesn’t wait for a free producer.
- It looks up public data about the household before asking anything.
- It asks only for what’s missing, a few questions at a time: drivers, vehicles, current insurance and desired coverage.
- It confirms the details, then checks them against each carrier’s rules. It sends requests only to carriers likely to accept the risk.
- The agency gets the full application, call records, side-by-side carrier quotes, a quote summary PDF and a file to import into rating software.
- A producer reviews and approves. The customer gets an email link to compare quotes and pick one.
- A licensed agent follows up to close. If a call drops, the agent resumes from the last step next time.
The vendor names three cases where the agent stops and hands off to a licensed agent: the customer’s answers don’t match the looked-up data, no carrier fits, or a step takes too long or fails.
Where it’s strong
Speed to lead. The agent makes the first call itself, which matters most for agencies buying internet leads. Calls, texts and email follow-up all run from the same platform.
Clear handoffs. Many AI tools don’t say when they stop. SUPERAGENT documents its handoff triggers. Its 3.0 release also says any action that changes the agency’s book needs explicit owner approval.
Audit trail. The vendor says each quote comes with a record of every step: what happened, when and why.
Breadth beyond quoting. If you also want AI call answering, call scoring and roleplay training, it’s one vendor and one credit pool.
Where it falls short
No carrier list. The carrier page names no carriers and gives no count, as of October 2026. Ask for the list for your states before a pilot.
Carrier access isn’t spelled out. The vendor describes filling the AMS and ACORD forms, an EZLynx integration that applies state rules, and a file for your rater. The January 2026 launch release says it “navigates carrier portals” and carrier rating engines. The current product pages don’t say whether the agent works carrier portals with your logins or relies on your rater. Ask to see a live quote end to end.
Uneven AMS support. The vendor’s integrations page rates AgencyZoom and Momentum as fully supported. HawkSoft and EZLynx support is limited (for example, it doesn’t create clients in EZLynx), and AMS360 is inbound calls only. Applied Epic isn’t listed.
Thin outside evidence. We found no rated G2 or Capterra reviews. The homepage cites outcome figures without methods. Its security notes cover data use and per-user access, but list no SOC 2 or similar audit. Detailed security documents are available on request.
Pricing and setup
Pricing is credit-based. One pool of SUPERcredits covers calls, texts, email and call analysis, with no per-seat fees, per the vendor homepage. We couldn’t load a pricing page with per-credit rates in October 2026, so get a written quote. The vendor offers a 14-day free trial and says 3.0 supports self-onboarding. Contract terms aren’t published.
Who should look elsewhere
- Commercial lines agencies. If your work is BOP, GL and WC submissions, look at commercial quoting platforms or AI agents that document commercial portal coverage.
- Agencies whose bottleneck is data entry, not calling. If your staff already have the customer’s data and just re-key it into portals and raters, a browser autofill tool is simpler and cheaper.
- Agencies that need audited security now. If your E&O carrier or clients require a SOC 2 report, choose a vendor that publishes one, or ask SUPERAGENT for its documents first.
