Who wins with it
You write mostly homeowners, often with flood, and want rates pulled directly from carrier websites, with a free trial before you commit.
You need a published carrier list, documented integration with a major AMS, or commercial lines.
The good and the catch
What it is
QuoteRUSH is a personal lines comparative rater for home, auto and flood. It is made by a small private company. Its LinkedIn profile lists 2011 as the founding year and Crawford, Georgia, as headquarters. The company says it delivers more than 6 million quotes a year.
The pitch is accuracy through direct connection. QuoteRUSH says it gets “real time rates” by working directly on carrier websites, rather than calculating rates itself. The same company sells Client Dynamics, a management system built to pair with the rater. XILO describes QuoteRUSH as especially popular in the Southeast.
How it works
Based on the vendor’s site and partner documentation:
- Bring in the lead. Enter basic details, or import them. QuoteRUSH says it pulls leads and rating data from industry providers and offers customizable web forms. Canopy Connect, InsuredMine and XILO can push applicant data into a new QuoteRUSH record.
- Gather the rest. QuoteRUSH says it helps collect the data each carrier needs within a couple of minutes. It automates home tasks such as running a replacement cost estimate for each carrier and finding the miles to the coast.
- Quote your carriers. The rater works each carrier’s website from one entry screen. The vendor also offers a “Virtual BOT,” a quoting bot it maintains for you. The product page also lists priority-level quoting.
- Review and move to bind. The vendor frames its focus as the quote-bind-policy workflow, but the site does not document binding inside the rater. It also lists book rollover tools.
Where it’s strong
Live carrier rates. The vendor claims 100% accurate real-time rates because it quotes on each carrier’s own website. That design avoids keeping a separate copy of carrier rate tables.
Homeowners detail. Per-carrier replacement cost estimates and coastal distance lookups target the steps that slow down property quoting in coastal and catastrophe-prone states. Flood quoting is listed as a core feature, not an add-on.
Low barrier to try. QuoteRUSH offers a free trial. Its Client Dynamics management system adds the QuoteRUSH integration for $10 a month for the agency, not per user.
Intake partners. Three intake and CRM tools document QuoteRUSH integrations. InsuredMine supports homeowners, auto and flood records.
Where it falls short
Little published detail. The website shows no carrier count, no state list in text, and no pricing. The most recent carrier figure we found was “more than 140” in a 2023 Canopy Connect press release. Confirm your carriers and states during the trial.
Depends on carrier websites. Rating on carrier websites means QuoteRUSH has to keep its bots working as carriers update their sites. Ask how fast fixes are made and how outages are communicated.
AMS fit is unclear. The sign-up form lists about 20 systems, including Applied Epic, AMS360, EZLynx and HawkSoft. The site doesn’t say which of these integrate or how. Only Client Dynamics is documented.
No commercial lines. Agencies that need BOP, GL or WC quoting will need a separate tool.
Pricing and setup
QuoteRUSH does not publish rater pricing. The site describes the product as affordable and offers a free trial and demo. The Basic Homeowner/Automobile package includes unlimited customizable web forms. Client Dynamics add-ons are priced publicly: $10 a month for the QuoteRUSH integration and $25 a month for two-way text messaging, both per agency. We found no published contract terms. Training webinars and videos are available to logged-in users.
Who should look elsewhere
- Agencies that need a large, published carrier panel: EZLynx’s Rating Engine lists 330+ carriers, and Vertafore’s PL Rating lists 300+.
- Vertafore AMS agencies: PL Rating documents direct integration with AMS360, Sagitta and QQCatalyst.
- Agencies quoting both personal and commercial lines: EZLynx also promotes commercial quoting, so one vendor can cover both.
What agencies say
Reviewers, most writing before 2024, like entering a home or auto risk once and getting accurate quotes from many carriers. Complaints include lag after carriers change their websites, slow runs across many carriers and weaker results outside HO3.
